According to SocialBakers.com, “Following the indefinite closure of gyms, many people are turning to home workouts in an effort to preserve not only our strength, but also sanity.”
At home gyms and stationary equipment has seen an insane increase in popularity, and stock prices for these companies have skyrocketed. New servers for virtual workout spaces have been upgraded, and equipment workers are being asked to work 7 days a week in some cases to meet the demand for home gym equipment.
Employees that remain active while working from home are more attentive and likely to keep the majority of their routine (minus the commute), keeping them more productive and positive through the crisis.
Companies that normally would incentivize staff in wellness programs
and benefit from having a healthier and more engaged staff should consider providing workout gear for employees—adidas gift cards are a great way to gift equipment vital for that purpose.
By giving employees incentive and a reason to be active, companies reduce the amount of depression and other mental distress to a minimum, and give employees a way and an incentive to focus on. When employees do come back, they will be more engaged resulting in
a healthier workforce.
